Composition Competition

As a way for us all to continue making music throughout the Easter Term, MagSoc invites all members of Queens’ to submit an original musical composition!

The theme of our competition is:

Competition Information

• We are accepting submissions from every/any genre of music and we want this to be as inclusive (and informal) as possible. 
• All musical backgrounds are welcome. No experience necessary!
• Compositions are recommended to be between 1-3 minutes in length. 
• Please submit a recording of your composition as a playable file along with some form of score. (If you are unable to submit a score then don’t worry!)
• Along with your composition, please submit c.100 words about your composition explaining how it relates to how you have interpreted the theme. 
• All the compositions will be compiled into a playlist and Queens’ members will be able to vote on the winner.

The winner will receive a pair of MagSocks and a trophy!
